E-commerce Platform Rebuild
Overview
As lead developer at Ask Phill, I managed the team and all technical aspects of rebuilding Tony's Chocolonely e-commerce platform from a custom build to Shopify. The project unified DTC, B2B, and reseller operations across six international markets into a single platform.
I designed and implemented the complete back-end system in Node.js, including adapting features like the 3D custom wrapper editor for the Shopify ecosystem. The work included creating design documents, Swagger and Postman files for API documentation, and implementing end-to-end testing with Playwright for critical checkout flows.
The back-end stack is hosted on Vercel. Featured in a Shopify case study for the project's impact on business performance.
